Learning should always be edifying and fun

Communication instruction shouldn’t feel unsafe, boring, or judgey...
People will be inspired to improve their communication if they feel seen and validated during instruction. Folks should leave informed, inspired, and armed with targeted, customized strategies which elevate their professional lives, and their global communication.

Inspiring teaching inspires learning

My approach is informed by decades of teaching The Meisner Technique, hard earned personal insights, and critical lessons from my professional and academic clients. This affords me the unique skills necessary to convey complex information with clarity, warmth, humor, and humanity. My engaging, often unexpected approach consistently delivers long-lasting, powerful results.

Nuts and bolts: throwing out old school METHODOLOGIES

Typical communication instruction ineffectively uses only one of two methodologies.
Delivered alone, they rarely get results.

The two approaches are…

Academic
-Taught by academics or former journalists.
-Has little to no hand-on instruction
-Uses research which assumes homogeneous workplace populations

Artistic
-Taught by actors or voice coaches
-Focuses on hands-on physical and vocal adjustments
-Does not customize acting techniques for use by non-actors

I use an integrated, intersectional approach of both current research and powerful hands-on tools.
